     I hope you all have a Excellent Easter Break. Please make sure to take care and stay safe.  We will be working on STAAR passages and making sure that you learn the strategies necessary to do extremely well.  I have confidence in you, and I know that with hard work and dedication we can come out on top.  I ask you to please be prepared to continue giving it all you've got in order to continue excelling in everything that you do.

     First of all I'd like to thank all the students that brought their project. You all did a fabulous job. Keep up the Good Work!  Those of you that didn't bring it in on time, I'm going to allow you to bring it in, but points will be deducted.
     Since STAAR is right around the corner, I want you to know that we will be working extremely hard to prepare for it.  We will be discussing strategies & techniques that can be used in order for us to be prepared.  If you all have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hello! Falcons!

     It was definitely a pleasure having you all this past week. You all are amazing. I'm really looking

 forward to learning more about each and everyone of you.

     This week we will be discussing, "Esperanza Rising," by Pam Munoz. We will also be working

on Character Analysis, and Plot Map Graphic Organizers, and you will create a booklet. Please don't

forget that your diorama project is due March 10th, and you will present March 10th & 11th.

Monday- Character Analysis

Tuesday- Plot Maps

Wednesday- Students will create an, "Esperanza Rising," booklet.

Thursday- Students will present while classmates provide presenters with constructive criticism.

Friday- Students will continue presenting while classmates continue providing presenters with constructive criticism.
