Week of October 31-November 4, 2016

     Mighty Falcons!!!

     We are starting another week.  Everyone needs to make sure that they review plot structure, inference, and the point-of-view notes that you took.  Please make sure that you study.

     This week you all will be taking a Six Weeks Assessment on Wednesday, so you need to make sure you are prepared.  I know that everyone is extremely smart and there shouldn't be a reason why you don't do well.
   
     Please make sure to keep doing your work and give it all you've got in order to continue to succeed in every way possible.

     I also want to thank all of my students for attending school daily.  I am extremely proud of you.  I Love listening to you all remind each other that you need to attend school.  I have to admit that you all are doing a phenomenal job.  Please continue attending school daily, and  like I have stated before I completely understand inevitable situations.

     I must thank you parents for everything that you do.

Week of October 24-28, 2016

Mighty Falcons!!!
     Here we start with another week filled with excitement.  The week that we have all been waiting for is here. This is the week that we will be reading the Halloween stories. I'm really looking forward to it, and I hope you are too.  We will be having a discussion and work on some activities after the reading as always.
     This week will also be a busy one, so you need to stay focused and make sure not to waste time.  We can't afford to have anybody fall behind, and as I've stated everyone is really smart so keep giving it all you've got in order to rise to the top.  
     Students please continue attending school daily. This is the only way to keep up with what is going on in class, and like I've mentioned before I completely understand inevitable situations.
     Let's make this an Amazing Week. Together let's give it 100%.  Better yet let's go at full brain speed.

Week of October 17-21, 2016

     Welcome Mighty Falcons!  We are starting another week of October.  I am extremely thankful to all those students that have been keeping up with their reading.  My hats off to you.  You are doing an amazing job.  Keep up the good work.

     This week we will continue reading The Giver; however, I need you all to make sure that you read every night.  It's important that you do, so this way you can do well on your quiz.  I have no doubt that you all will make me proud.  

     Oh! I will add that this week you all will be taking a Mini-Assessment.  I'm sure that each and every one of you will do great.  Please make sure to use your strategies.

     Please make sure that you attend school daily.  It's extremely important that your are here in order to prepare yourself for a better future, and of course like I've stated before I completely understand inevitable situations.

     Let's continue making this week a Great Week!

October 10-14, 2016

     Hey Mighty Falcons!  I hope you all are reading The Giver.  Please, please, please make sure to read.  I don't want any of you falling behind.  Remember that this Friday you might have a Surprise Pop Quiz, so I'm going to stress that you read.

     I want to thank those of you that are reading and able to keep up with class discussions.  I have to admit that I'm extremely proud of you all.  Please continue to keep up with the amazing work, and I can guarantee that you will go far.

     I also to have to add that I'm really excited about how each and everyone of you are putting effort into the project you are working on.  You all are doing GREAT!!!  I honestly am eager to see what you all are planning to add. It's so neat to see all of your ideas come together.

     Please remember that you all don't have school on Monday.
     Don't forget that attendance is extremely important, so I ask that you please try to come daily; however, I do understand inevitable situations.

October 3-7, 2016
     Mighty Falcons!!! We are starting another week, and I'm so looking forward to it. Please don't forget to continue doing your reading on The Giver.
     We can't afford to fall behind. Every single one of you is extremely intelligent and capable of giving it everything you've got, so let's work together to continue to allow things to run smoothly.
   Remember that we will continue with class activities, discussions, and let's not forget the game board with your group project. I have to admit that I'm extremely excited about going back tomorrow just to find out what Great ideas you have for the project. Oh! Please remember that you need to follow the guidelines that were provided.
   Don't forget that on Oct. 6, 2016 we will be attending HESTEC.
   This Wednesday, October 5, 2016 you all will be taking pictures so you may wear your Sunday's Best.
   Students, I also want to remind you that it's extremely important that you come to school daily.  I don't want you to fall behind, and of course I completely understand inevitable situations.
