May 1-5, 2017

Welcome Falcons!

Here we are one week before the STAAR, and we're still going strong.  I am extremely proud of all of you.  You all are doing really well, so let's keep giving it our all to reach that Level III.  I know that each and everyone of you can do it so don't cut yourself short and continue giving it your 100%.
Another thing that you need to remember is that it's important that you attend school daily.  Especially, during this time because as I have previously stated, it's crunch time.  Let's not forget, that unforeseen situations are understood; however, I'd love to have each and everyone of you be here daily.
Students, it's important that you know all of the Reading Strategies by now; therefore, you will be having a Quiz over them on Tuesday.  This will not be a Multiple Choice Test, so you must write everything down on your own (every single strategy).
We will be having Saturday tutoring these next two Saturdays, so I hope to continue seeing you all this Saturday and the following.

STAAR TEST DATES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

MATH STAAR- Monday, May 8, 2017
READING STAAR- Tuesday, May 9, 2017

April 24-28

    Welcome Mighty Falcons!

We are beginning another week, and it's crunch time!  Remember to stay focused and give it your all these last few weeks.
The STAAR is near, so don't forget how important it is to always come prepared to class, so that you don't waste any time.  As I have previously stated, each and everyone of you is extremely intelligent.  All you have to do is concentrate and do the best that you can Always.  You are too smart to limit yourself, so continue to give it your 110% All the time.
I must add that it's important that you attend school daily.  This is the only way that you will know exactly what is going on in class, and of course, let me add once again, that inevitable situations are understandable.
So... Let's do this Mighty Falcon 6th Grade!!! Let's Show Everyone what Ac2E Middle School has got!!!

Thank you,
Ms. Narvaez

Week of April 17-21, 2017

Welcome Falcons!
I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend; however, it's time to get back to work.  We are going to continue to give it our all, so please make sure that you go to sleep early every night.  This way you are well-rested and have the energy to learn.  You also need to continue to stay focused in every class so that you can succeed.  Each and everyone of you is extremely intelligent, so continue to give it your all so that you can continue to thrive.
This week we will be reading Ta-Na-E-Ka.  It's a great story in the Literature book.  I'm certain each and every one of you will enjoy it.  We will also be working on activities with the reading, so make sure to follow along and listen carefully to the reading.
Oh! Remember that we are super close to STAAR, so you need to make sure that you come everyday.  Attendance is very important, and as I've previously stated, inevitable situations are understandable.
6th Graders, Let's Give it Our All!!!
     Thank you,
     Ms. Narvaez

Week 10-14, 2017

Welcome Falcons!

We are starting another week.  Make sure that you stay focused all the time.  Every second, minute, and hour count; therefore, you need to use your time effectively and wisely.  Especially, right now with STAAR so close by.
This week we will continue to work on Reading Passages.  You need to make sure that you stay focused in every class, so that you don't miss out on anything.  Make sure that you rest, get plenty of sleep and are ready to do your assignments daily.
Another thing, I need to add is that you need to make sure that you attend school daily.  Attendance is extremely important.  We have a lot of work to do, so please try to be here everyday.  If an inevitable situation occurs, it is understandable.

Thank you,
Ms. Narvaez
